Electrolyte-Plasma Treatment in Controlled Pulse Modes

چکیده
Electrolyte-plasma treatment (EPT) has become widespread in industry as an alternative to traditional chemical, electrochemical and mechanical methods of improving the surface quality products made metallic materials. The advantages EPT are a high intensity smoothing microroughnesses, use low-concentration salt solutions electrolytes, ability process items complex shape. main disadvantage method is its energy consumption; therefore, сan be classified energy-intensive production. To reduce increase efficiency materials while maintaining intensity, processing environmental safety, we proposed fundamentally new pulse (pulsed EPT), which combines both EPT. realized by combining two alternating stages within one millisecond pulse: electrolyte-plasma. developed achieved due intensive metal removal during implementation stage with current density optimization duration electrolyte-plasma stage, provides quality. A decrease repetition period pulses their makes it possible component provide more removal, remove significant irregularities. An simultaneous permits achieve low roughness general process. As result work, influence characteristics process, concentration temperature electrolyte on been investigated, comparative analysis using pulsed instead at constant voltage carried out. It found that rate than five times higher based voltage, 40 μm/min, costs for 19 % less.

Plasma electrolyte changes in hypothermia.
Despite the widespread use of hypothermia in clinical surgery, the nature of the plasma electrolyte changes associated with this state is far from clear, and little attempt has been made to consider them in relation to adrenocortical activity. Haemoconcentration has been recorded in hypothermia by Rosenhain and Penrod (1951), Millar (1954), and Villalobos, Adelson, and Barila (1955), although S...
متن کاملSeasonal plasma electrolyte fluctuations in childhood diarrhoea.
A retrospective analysis of routinely collected data from a diarrhoea rehydration unit found clinically meaningful parallel seasonal variation in plasma sodium and potassium concentrations. The prevalence of severe hypokalaemia was 7.2% and 0.4% in February and August respectively, and of severe hypernatraemia 0.4% and 5.0% respectively. These unexpected findings need prospective confirmation a...
متن کاملPlasma electrolyte concentrations in ambulatory cardiac patients.
The authors find that electrolyte concentrations of the plasma of the more severely ill cardiac patients attending two outpatient clinics are statistically indistinguishable from controls. They note, however, a slight tendency to metabolic alkalosis and occasionally a mild hyponatremia. No instance of "low salt svndiome" was found. T HE EXISTENCE of abnormal concentrations of plasma electrolyte...
متن کاملElectrical pulse fabrication of graphene nanopores in electrolyte solution.
Nanopores in graphene membranes can potentially offer unprecedented spatial resolution for single molecule sensing, but their fabrication has thus far been difficult, poorly scalable, and prone to contamination. We demonstrate an in-situ fabrication method that nucleates and controllably enlarges nanopores in electrolyte solution by applying ultra-short, high-voltage pulses across the graphene ...
متن کاملElectrolyte gate-controlled Kondo effect in SrTiO3.
We report low-temperature, high-field magnetotransport measurements of SrTiO(3) gated by an ionic gel electrolyte. A saturating resistance upturn and negative magnetoresistance that signal the emergence of the Kondo effect appear for higher applied gate voltages. This observation, enabled by the wide tunability of the ionic gel-applied electric field, promotes the interpretation of the electric...
